The updates KB937143 - 938123 - 905866 can't be installed, I get the error
message 800B0100.
Even with the antivirus programme UNinstalled, the updates don't react!
My PC has Vista Home Premium.
Does anyone know a solution for this problem?
Regards,
HanLee

Is UAC enabled or disabled ? The system can not find a digital signature
in the updates.
Try downloading KB937143 [x86 or 32 bit] from here and SAVE it:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=9AE27B2F-ACA4-4758-8CE4-A98F1FF6BA70&displaylang=en

When the download completes, close the browser and any other open programs.
*Right* click Windows6.0-KB937143-x86.msu and choose 'Run as
administrator'. Click Allow or enter the Admin password, then click
Continue.
Did that get it installed ?

Thank you for your help, it worked! all updates haven been installed now.
UAC was enabled all the time (since March when I bought this PC) but
sometimes it acts as if it is not working. I have to look into this problem
now that the update troubles are over.
Thanks again.

You're mowst welcome. Glad to hear the issue is sorted out.
UAC 'learns' when not to prompt for privilege elevation, thus you will
not see it as much as when Vista was being 'broken in', so to speak.

I've recently encountered same problems. I've downloaded and installed from
your link satisfacatorily but when I rescan to see if there are any further
updates, I run into the same error - 800b0100. Any further help appreciated.
