After the ME (Microsoft Millennium edition) welcome screen
I get the following white text on black screen message
every time I start my computer

%1 : %2
Windows could not upgrade the file %1 from %2
[above repeated 8 times]
%1 : %2
Windows could not upgrade one or more sytem files before
starting.
If Windows fails to start, run setup again
Press any key to continue

[I press any key]

Completed updating files, continuing to load windows

Then computer functions normally except that McAfee pop up
comes up saying an update was loaded; restart or continue
what I was doing. (Even though I have updated all of my
virusscan files and Microsoft patches) I also recived an
email from an unknown person saying that I have
worm_sobig.f virus which I think is a false email since I
have no c:\wint\winppr32.exe file where worm_sobig.f is
supposed to lodge itself.

Please help with the %1 : %2 Windows update issue
