Hmm... looks like you are going to have to make a data area bigger. <eg>

(incorrect quoting corrected)
It demonstrates how useless complaints which include only an error code
can be when people ask for help. Include some context from your log(s)
if you want help interpreting the diagnostics you are getting with your
problem symptom.

According to the code you're getting, the one you have is
not "broad" enough. <EG>

Actually I wouldn't be surprised to find the code is bogus.
Have you tried to find its context yet? ; )

Without any context it is just as useless as I implied.
Good luck

It appears that ekugell and I are unique, since even googling the error code
only gets me to this wholly unhelpful dialogue that ekugell had with a Robert
Aldwickle.
Sorry Ekugell, I can not help you, but you are not alone.

(Quoting corrected.) Please don't overtype material you are quoting,
including blank lines. You may delete trailing blank lines
and any other material that you think is irrelevant to the context
that you want to comment on if you wish.

It was a joke. Clearly the error code is an insufficient clue to help
diagnose a problem symptom. So you would need to (at least)
find the context of that code (or its decimal equivalent) in any diagnostic
files that the update created or changed.

I also have Vista Home Premium. And I was getting the same error when
updates for the system were about to be downloaded. In the beginning I just
clicked to load the updates. But for one I could get it installed. it was
Vista Service Pack 2. then I freed about 4 Gb on my hard disk (that problem
code is linked to capacity of free space). but it still didn't work, and
after I just downloaded this soft from the site and installed it manually.
Now it works perfectly fine.
Hope it helps
