During a Windows Update, I accidentally closed the browser. After trying to
do the update again, I get "You did not accept the license agreement for
this item. If you do not wish to install this item, you can remove it".

Update does not present me with the license agreement like it did during my
first attempt at the update.

I got the same "You did not accept the Licensing
Agreement blah blah" while I was trying to download The
WIN XP Service Pack 1. Were you ever able to resolve
your problem?. I've been looking all over and so far I
can't figure it out. The Windows Update said this was
a "critical Update" so it is frustrating not to be able
to download it.

like it did during my first attempt at the update.>>.

Have not resolved it, nor can I find any info on it.

I don't remember accidentally closing my browser the first time, but
I've had this problem for a couple of months now. The odd thing is
that I used to get automatic critical update notifications and then be
able to download them, but I don't get them any more.

I am searching for a solution as well. Would sure appreciate some
help from someone. One thing that I have noticed is that the little
dialog that asks me to accept the license agreement flashes very
briefly on the screen before I get the error "You did not accept..."
I've tried quickly clicking or entering a key to try and catch it, but
with no luck. :(

Just had it happen on my wife's machine this morning. She's running XP
Home, so it isn't OS dependent. Mine happens on 2K Server.

I'm not sure how long it will last, but I seem to have gotten it to work by
refreshing the page when it tells me I haven't agreed to the license
agreement. After refreshing, it takes me back to the review page, but then
it will allow me to download the updates. Give it a try and see if this
works for you.
