Hey guys, I recently restarted my laptop for some sort of update that took
place....however every time I log off and log on to the computer the computer
still prompts me to "restart the computer for updates to take place" "yes or
no" I have said yes numerous times and still the computer restarts to the
same prompt. Anyone have any ideas on why or how I can get this prompt to
stop? Thanx

Which update is causing the issue ? _________ [KBxxxxxx?]
Has the system actually been restarted or are you just logging off and on ?

I have the same problem. Every time I restart my computer I get the same
message..... something to the effect of "Windows must be restarted for
updates to complete." I have restarted several times but I still get the same
message every time. I want it to go away.

The actual message is, "The computer must be restarted before updating can
continue. Would you like to restart now?" There are yes and no boxes under
the message. I have clicked yes several times but the message still appears
everytime my computer is restarted.
