overloaded hard drive

my comp has win xp recently installed and the c drive is
now filled after i installed the windows updates. I have
already removed all the other programs and have done a
disk cleanup, but there still isnt enough breathing room
(only 400 mg left on C). Is there any way to remove some
of the unnecessary updates, or remove components of
windows that arnt needed? Thanks

Buy a new, larger hard drive. They are not that expensive.
