Black screen with two monitors

I have a dual output ATI Radeon HD 2400XT graphics card (Gateway GM5664).
When I upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista Home Premium I found that with both
of my monitors connected, I get a black screen upon start-up. When I
disconnect one of the monitors, all is well. How can I solve this problem and
get two-monitor functionality back?
