Verify the following ActiveX settings and register the following files. You
may also want to take a look at the Windows Update Troubleshooter for
additional suggestions.
1) Open Internet Explorer
2) Select Tools > Internet Options
3) Select Security Tab
4) Highlight "Internet" and Click "Custom Level"
5) Under "ActiveX controls and Plugins" Verify the following:
Download signed ActiveX controls = Prompt
Download unsigned ActiveX controls = Disabled
Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe = Disabled
Run ActiveX controls and Plugins = Enabled
Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting = Enabled
Start > Run
Type "regsvr32 softpub.dll" (without quotes)
Press ok.
Should receive a succeeded message.
Repeat above steps for:
wintrust.dll
initpki.dll
dssenh.dll
gpkcsp.dll
sccbase.dll
slbcsp.dll
cryptdlg.dll
