I just downloaded Windows Media Player 10, and when it's through installing a
box pops up saying" windows media player was not installed properly." I've
tried installing it from the website but it still doesn't work.

I just downloaded Windows Media Player 10, but it says it wasn't installed
properly. What can I do to make it work?

Did you get any reply? I see media player installed in the history but when I
click it it shows me the same message.

Yes, I was told to install WM9 and then upgrade. The thing is my system
already has WM9, and I couldn't find the download for XP

If you look under Windows Media and post something there
I'm sure you can find an answer.
