I have tried the "proxycfg -d" even though I'm not behind a proxy server...

I have tried stopping and restarting the wuauserv service...

I have deleted and reinstalled the wuauserv service...

I have cleared the cache on my browser about a hundred times...

I have rebooted fifteen times..

This is when trying to install Service Pack 2

Okay...so I go away for an hour or so...I come back...and it starts the
install without error?

No reboot...no nothing...what gives?

The words "gift horse" and "mouth" come to mind...

I'll repost upon completion just to verify that it actually worked
