updating new internet explorer problems?

i downloaded i exp 6 version and about every 15 minutes or
so i have pop-up saying internet explorer has encountered
a problem and must shut down. then i lose my page and
anything i was doing. do you have any suggestions or has
anyone ever had this problem before?

a. This really belongs in Internet Explorer group, where you'd be better helped. Posting in the right spot always helps. :)
Do some searching / reading at the IE6 newsgroup.

b. Your problem may well be due to overheating problems, or, bad or marginal RAM memory.
Insure your system is getting sufficient air circulation & it is not getting too hot in its area.
c. You ought to also mention your edition/version of Windows. If only, because if you have XP, you'd be able to fetch the error failure.
