on my Computer, Just FYI.

It also did not display an Error Code, Just FYI.

I am Cross Posting this in both the Windows Update and Windows Vista General

Lucky you.

I got the updates from yesterday or so installed and now that I booted
control panel does not open, file explorer is really slow, takes 30 seconds
to open anything. I did a disk check and nothing is wrong and everything
works fine from command prompt window.

Perhaps check your windows update log. May have info in there that may help
diagnose.

Located in %systemroot%\windowsupdate.log

Never mind, the Update Successfully Installed itself today, Just FYI. All I
did was Shut Down the Computer Yesterday Night, and when I turned it on this
morning it Successfully Installed the Update and I Restarted my Computer,
and Everything is Fine now, Just FYI. It might have been an Issue with my
McAfee Firewall (I was Successfully Able to Install the Newly Released
Version of McAfee Internet Security for Home User's on Windows Vista Beta 2,
with a Few Minor Problem's with The Install Process, Just FYI).

For some reason I am not able to see this Mr. Kevin's posts. But reading his reply in other threads makes me wonder if this Mr. FYI saw that when you installed that Update it said that you need to restart your computer for that Update to take effect.

After almost a week I still have a problem with KB922917 loading and now
KB924125. All the defender updates continue to load fine in between. I have
reported these two issues as bugs to MS a few days ago, but no responses.
Any ideas. I have tried everything else on the boards about Windows Updates.

I had no problems with KB922917 but I am having problems with KB924125. It
installs and then restarts system but then when I reboot it says updates are
ready and I see the same update for KB924125. Can anyone help?
