Error Code 80243004

Ok, when I log on to my Computer i get a message saying that windows explorer
stopped working to install update. I've tried many time installing but I keep
getting Error Code 80243004, when I go to review update it shows, Windows
Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) (KB936330) 49.6 MB-427.0 MB. I have the 32 bit
version, and McAfee Total Protection. What can I do? Do I have to install SP1
or SP2? Please help. Thank you.

LOOK!!! => Support for Vista Gold (no Service Packs) ends next Tuesday, 13
April 2010! After that date, computers running Vista Gold will NOT be
offered any further critical security updates, Automatic Updates will not
work, and you will not be able to update manually until SP1 or SP2 is
installed.

What does it mean if my version of Windows is no longer supported?
