Hello if you have seen my preceding messages relating an error 800B0004 with
WindowsUdpate (incomplete update...) : i have found a solution and it's now
all OK :

-> I simply update from IE5.5 to IE6 (with OE 6).
Now i can execute windows update without problem.
I had no problem during download and install IE6.
(My OS is W98SE with ADSL connection).

I am using IE 6.0 SP1 and i've been receiveing the error
800C0004.

I've try all the steps on the microsoft's online help and
user messages but i couldn't fix the problem.
Can you give me more ideas about how to fix this????
When problems like this occours i think: "Thank you mr.
Torvalds for the Linux". I use XP just at work cause its
my obligation.
