Hi,

This could be due to a missing SensLogn registry key/values.

Please put the part between the two
--------------------8<----------------------
lines below into a file that you give a .reg file extension.

NB:
The [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\......\Notify\SensLogn] part needs
to be on *one* line, will wrap over to lines in this post.

If you have Windows 2000, and not Windows XP, please remove
the following 3 lines (at the bottom of the listing):

"Disconnect"="SensDisconnectEvent"
"PostShell"="SensPostShellEvent"
"Reconnect"="SensReconnectEvent"

Import the registry file by double clicking on it in Explorer,
and then reboot the computer.

When importing the registry file, you should then get this dialog box:

I'm following up the problem for Jeff and am also baffled.
I read on another thread (possibly on another forum) that It'd supposedly
possible to do the Windows Update succesfully on the local machine, ie not
through Windows Terminal Services.
This however didn't work as I'm still getting the same errors locally
(albeit running the screen through VNC) as when running through Terminal
Services.

Any more ideas?

Hi there,

I'm working with Jeff on this update problem. I've applied the registry
fix that you suggested and have also looked for the KB902400. (It's not
installed.)
The above didn't work and the problem is still confusing us!

I have been reading and working on this for two weeks and I have tried
everything Posted on all the boards and nothing seem to work. I did find what
my problem was that the Background Intelligent Transfer Service was not set
to log on as a Local System account. Somehow it was changed to the – This
account settings. I changed this to The Local System account and rebooted
went to windows update and now everything works.
