Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 -security update (KB954430).
The update fails and I get error code 0x643.. I'm running Windows XP Home
edition SP2. Can somebody help me with this issue?
thank you,
DaLipton
That being said...
1. Write down what .NET Framework versions are already installed before you
go uninstalling/removing any of them!
How to determine which versions of the .NET Framework are installed and
whether service packs have been applied
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318785
2. Now see Resolutions Methods 1 or 2 in
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923100 (ignore the title).
PS: Next time, begin a new thread about YOUR problem. THX

Entire conversation:
http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windowsupdate/browse_frm/thread/d972a7bc359e24d9/514390b2c74d0ed5#514390b2c74d0ed5
My guess - "DaLipton" is replying to you (at least in thread view) and
asking you if any part of your answer to "wphillips" (who did hijack the
thread and you pointed this out to them) was intended for them/would work
for them - the original poster of this entire conversation. ;-)

Considering the fact that I'd snipped all but wphillips' post in my reply,
I'll let DaLipton speak for or figure it out on his own. <eg>
I don't think my problem has anything to do with .new framework?? or does
it? did you answer to wphillip's or my question, i was confused about that.
