Download the vista beta, and try to strip the rdp client from it.
It will give a maximum of 3840x1200 at 24 bits against a 2k3.

If that is not your cup of tea, you can go for Citrix.

15k€ for dual monitor is kind of too expensive ;-)

and no more update from previous Citrix (we have XP 1.0s)
