need to deploy a Wireless Thin Client Laptop solution for my mobile
workforce. We provide Mental Health Case Management to our consumers
who reside in thier own apartments. I have been unable to locate a
manufacturer of thin client laptops that are capable of supporting
Microsoft RDP for the purpose of initiatiating a session with a Windows
workforce. We provide Mental Health Case Management to our consumers

manufacturer of thin client laptops that are capable of supporting
Microsoft RDP for the purpose of initiatiating a session with a Windows
2003 Terminal Server.
It is important that the device supports WPA encryption, 802.11 G,
WIFI, and GPRS.
PDA's and Tablets are not adequate for the tasks involved. It must have
a Wireless Thin Client Laptop Solution. The hard must be completely
eliminated in order to minimize IT support costs and to exceed HIPAA
security requirements. Both Dell and IBM don't seem to get it.
If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be most
appreciative...
