I have some questions about Terminal Server Licensing in Windows 2000

Can i configure more than one TS License Server to provide fault tolleranz
to this type of service ?

Is the Terminal Server License based on concurrent use or fixed on the TS
Client ?

If no TS Client License is available the Client gets a temporäry License,
would an installation of more Licenses
convert the temporäry License to a normal License ?

The Terminal Server writes down the use of temporäry Licenses with the
Netbios Name and/or the IP Adresse.
If the temporäry License expires and a new client gets the IP Adress from
the previous client, they new client is
not able to connect to the TS Server because the License for this IP Address
is expired ?

Thank you for your help

I know you can have more than one TS in a domain. if you can use the same
certificate on that server or not i don't know.\

TSL is based on a per seat basis, each client connecting to the TS needs to
have a CAL.

Once you activate a TS and that client communicates with the TSLS it will
issue it a CAL. Once the 90 day expiration is up that client will be denied
access to the server.

I think it puts an entry in the registry of the client once it issue a
license wheather temp or cal. where this entry is at i have no clue
