Scenario:
- An XP workstation and a Windows 2000 server, both are up to date with SPs
and hotfixes, and are in the same domain.
- The domain group policy dictates that a smart card be used on the
workstation for log on authentication.
- The group policy doesn't require a smart card for logging on to the
server, but it may in the future.

Question:
- Is it possible to establish a Remote Desktop connection from the XP
workstation to the Windows 2000 server? I don't have the hardware on hand to
test this but I've heard from our staff in the field that this works with a
2003 server but not with 2000.
- Links to any documentation that supports your answers will be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks.
