Remote clients use RDC to access a foxpro program ( myprogram.exe ) on my
Terminal server.
How can set up the user on my terminal server to run the myprogram.exe only.
I do not want the users to run anything else but the myprogram.exe.

Any help is appretiated.

Thanks,
Sergio Ortiz

Note: this newsgroup is going to be deleted soon.
Please use the main TS newsgroup instead:
microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services.

Define myprog.exe as the starting application, either in a GPO or
in Terminal Services Configuration.

Note that this is a convenience to the end user only, *not* a
security measure.
You still have to lock down your TS with a GPO and NTFS
permissions. It is very easy to break out of any application to get
to the desktop and a command prompt.

Vera, thanks for your help.
I went to Group Policy Object Editor, but I do not know where and how to add
the myprog.exe.

Thanks,
Sergio

Hello Vera, thanks again.

I have several users that connect to TS. How can I add the start up
program/script(myprogram.exe) to a specific user on my TS.

How about:

User Configuration - Administrative templates - Windows

Components - Terminal Services
"Start a program on connection"

Tip: have you read the "Explain" tab in the GPO editor? There's
lots of information there:
"Note: This setting appears in both Computer Configuration and User
Configuration. If both settings are configured, the Computer
Configuration setting overrides."

Vera, once again thanks for your valuable help.
I manage to create the Group Policy.
Now how do I assign this Group Policy Object to a specific user?
