I am running NT server 4.0, with service pack 3. I have a OSR2 relese
of Windows95. I can see the NT server from the 95 machine in the
workgroup, but I cannot see the 95 machine from NT server. I have tried
to run \\(win95 machine name)\(shared drive) But I get an error saying
the network name cannot be found. I can how-ever ping the IP address of
the 95 machine from the NT server. I am not logging the 95 machine into
a domain, the server is a stand alone server, It has one nic card
multi-homed with 2 IP addresses. Any Ideas? Yes the workgroup name is
the same on both machines. Please help!

Thanks!

Erik,

On the Win95 machine make sure you have enabled File and Print Sharing.

Have you enabled sharing on the 95 machine? If not, the 95 server component
won't run, and the machine won't be seen on the network.
