Does anyone have any idea on how to stop the program from putting in any and
everyone I send an e-mail too? There are a lot of people I do not want on
the list and I am really getting aggrivated going in and deleting a dozen
people. Any suggestion would be appreciated other than taking a hammer to
it. Oh for the good old days of Outlook Express, I loved it.

'Tools|Options|Send tab', uncheck the "Automatically put people I respond to
in my Contacts list" checkbox.

Windows Mail doesn't use Windows Contacts for auto-complete, it maintains a
cache of the last 29 addresses you sent email to.

You can delete the entire auto-complete list:
http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/245/1/How-to-clear-the-email-auto-complete-entries-in-Windows-Mail.html

Or try this utility to selectively remove some addresses:
http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/264/1/Utility-to-clear-recently-used-email-addresses-in-Windows-Mail.html

Or you can upgrade to Widows Live Mail that DOES use your Contacts for
auto-complete.
