Migrating Windows Workstations to a New Domain

I have just been reading the article on Microsoft's website about

I expect things have moved on a lot since this has written...

I was wondering if you had any advice for migrating Windows XP Pro
systems from one domain to another domain.

I see that REGCHG and REG UPDATE are not readily available on Windows
XP Pro, but I expect REG ADD would be a sufficient substitute.

Is this the right direction to go?

Perhaps the Active Directory Migration Tool is what I need?

Any advice is welcomed.
