I have just clean reinstalled Windows XP. When trying to
play a music CD with Windows Media Player I get the
following error message "wmplayer.exe - Entry Point not
found. 'GetIUMS' could not be located in the Dynamic
Link Library 'MSDART.DLL' "
WMP will display the CD list but as soon as play is
clicked up comes the above message.
I have also got 'Creative Audigy Platnum ex'installed.
This has the same problem but does not display any
helpful error message after hitting play.
I am assuming both problems are linked, ie caused by one
problem.
All drivers are up to date both in the Memorex DVD player
& TDK CD. Likewise drivers throughout the rest of the PC
are up to date. Motherboard is a MSI K7N2 Delta
Other internal (Off the hard drive) wave sounds etc come
through ok.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
