I'm getting this error message everytime i try to open
a .vob file in Windows Media Player 8 on Windows XP:

'This application has failed to start because vobsub.dll
was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this
problem.'

Ofcourse, i can't re-install Windows Media Palyer because
it is not listed under add/remove windows components. And
i can't download it either because latest version
available for download is 7.1. I have InterVideo WinDVD
3.0 installed on my machine. If anyone can help me
resolve this problem, i will really appreciate. Thanks.

Tain't a Windows Media Player file. Some third party DVD decoder is
evidently not configured right. Either reinstalling or removing that other
DVD playing software should fix that issue.
