Is there a way to copy all of the files (songs) from from a playlist to
another drive (e.g. a portable USB drive). I know you can burn a CD from a
playlist, and you can sync a playlist to an MP3 player, but I can't find a
way to just copy the songs as files. Thanks.

You can just do this with Copy + Paste within windows explorer.

That appears to only copy the playlist file. I want to copy all of the songs
(files) that are in a specific playlist. Thanks.

I meant find the file location (right-click on library entry then open
file location) and choose Copy...

However re-reading your post, I think you mean 'in bulk', all at once.

WMP can sync to MP3 players, but many of those appear as a portable
USB memory stick. So you can usually use any USB memory stick you have
around, let WMP detect it as a 'portable device' and Sync the playlist
(and so, the files) files as if it was an MP3 player.

This also works in cases where you want to have WMP convert the files
from WMA to MP3 for example.
