wmp11 skins bug

ok i have xp pro sp3, wmp11, and the aliengui theme manager and all the
alienware skins for wmp...but...none of the skins are working properly!!!
when i first download and install them into the media player they work but
when i try to change back and forth from skins they dont work i have also
download the need for speed underground skin and its not working either!!!
they work if i delete the skin from the media play and reload it again...but
for some reason they wont just switch in the media player like there supposed
to!!! Does anyone know how to fix this issue???
