changing skins on media player 11

I have been trying to change the skin on my media player. I have downloaded
the ones I want, and when I click on the skin, then click on apply skin, the
skin refuses to change to the one I have chosen. Never had this problem
with previous players. I have tried two or three different skins, and I am
getting the same with all of them. Any help on this would be appreciated.

yah i am having the same problem i get the same problem every once in a while
i think its a bug in the codec for wmp11!!! hopefully some kind of mod will
see this and theyll come out with a new update to fix it!!! yah like thats
gonna happen!! anyways anyone who knows how to fix the problem plz help the
alienware skins arent even working right! when i try to load them it acts
like its gonna load then loads the defualt skin plz help this is a pain!!!
