Wimdows Media Player 11 audio problems in skin mode

I am getting cracking and popping in the sound on Media player 11 when I am
in skins mode on full screen. I have a an HP a6317c with a GTX 260 graphics
card and 600 W PS. I have updated DirectX to version 10. I have a similar
problem with MS FSX but not with other games. The sound is fine when there
are no moving graphics on the screen (like I get out of skins mode). Anyone
have any ideas on how to fix this?
