Migrating from Version 7

It would appear that the core problem with my previous issue ("out of stack
space ...") is that I am running version 7 of DRM which is no longer
supported (I gather the out of stack space is a known issue with V9).

Can any one tell me what level of difficulty the upgrade may be (ignoring
the admin of getting a V10 license)?

Can I just install the new SDK and the old code will run? Is the object
model substantially different?

Will my encoded content still work?
