Walkman and Vista

Hi

I have a Sony walkman (modal NWZ-E445) but it does not work correctly when I
plug it into my laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium service pack 2.

Vista finds the device and searches for a driver. However when it has found
the driver (MTP device & walkman) the error message "access denied" is
displayed.

How can this be rectified?

(However it does function in my old pc running XP service pack 2!)
