I have connected my Pioneer Kuro plasma to my Lynksys WRT54G router and
enabled media sharing on WMP 11. I can see the TV in WMP 11, I can ping it on
the network. When I go to the screen on the to TV to access the available
DLNA server nothing shows up. I think I have changed every possible setting
on the router and firewall setup to see if I can get it to show the server
name on the TV. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this issue?

Check the Windows System eventlog for DRM (Digital Rights
Management) errors.
Next open: WMP>Help>About WMP>Technical Support Information
This opens an information screen in Internet Explorer.
It should show a version number for "Indiv-version" (8th line
from top, e.g. 2.8.0.1).
If there is no version number your DRM is broken, which prevents
DLNA to work properly.
Fix it by uninstall WMP11 (it will revert to your previous
version) and reinstall WMP11 again.

Thanks for the information... Didn't see any DRM errors in the event log. I
opened the version link for WMP and sure enough it's missing information for
the DRM Ver & Indiv Ver. I will uninstall WMP and re-install, cross my
fingers and let you know what happens.

Hi Wouter,
I removed WMP 11 and re-installed it (add/remove programs) went back to the
version list and the DRM & Indiv Version so do not have any information. Any
other thoughts and how to correct this. Is there a windows service that needs
to be activated?

I had this same problem and followed all the steps you did and still had the
problem. To solve it, i deleted all of the files in the DRM folder (they
were hidden system files) and reinstalled / updated DRM to lastest version.
Everything works flawlessly now - Pioneer can access and play files on XP
device.
