I cannot access the help & support facility. Error
Message: The initialisation of the help centre failed.
Please report the following error number to microsoft
support: 2147143679. Help from any source will be
appreciated. Thanks in advance. James

Also try this it should work as there are quite
few update patches in the Cd contents. It has worked for others as well as
for myself.

I think this is cause of updated patches not properly
installed. I had the same problems with H&S
Tried so many suggestion without luck.
I ran the Cd with crutical patches - infact twice and then
went over to the update site for a final check.
And it put it right the H&S winme.
