corel draw 9

Hi,
I installed corel draw 9 on windows me
now: the 'cut & paste' as well as the save and 'save as' don't function
anymore (corel photopaint works well escept for:)
when I use the x box to close, a yellow exclamation mark appears, then the
name of the file_________, the options, but no hints as what the pop up is
supposed to do.
Has anyone an idea of what is goin on?

I know that this is of little comfort but I have never had those problems
here running Draw and Photopaint 9 since upgrading to Me nine months ago.
Please note that this is an upgrade install from 98SE. Draw and Photopaint
were installed on a 98SE system that had previously been running v8.

What version of CorelDraw 9 are you running. If you're not running Version
9.439 you may want to try dling the update. You don't say whether you
upgraded to ME or it's a clean install. Either way check to see that your
running the latest video driver versions.
