I installed Windows ME and love it. I do have a problem in Start-up and
Shut-down though. I think it is related to Nortin Anti-Virus, but not
certain.
On Start-up, System often hangs - CTRL-ALT-DEL shows a file cmdninst
which it hangs on. Is this file related to NAV? If so, what can I do? Don't
want to be un-protected.
Thanks!

I have also had success with Computer Associates' free virus-checking
program, but I prefer Norton.

I am using Norton 2001. Everything seems to behave ok until I install it.
Not sure if the there is a configuration problem elsewhere that is getting
in the way. Every time the system hangs, the same file is indicated. Did a
search of my system, but was unable to locate anything by that name (
cmdninst ... don't remember the extension).
