Slow performance

Does anyone have slow performance with windows ME
I FDisked my PC before installing ME just to clean things up a bit.Only have
office 2000 and GoLive 5 on.
Seems sluggish and sometimes has long pauses

IE version 5.50.4134

Any suggestions would be most welcome

Same thing here. I'm not sure but I have all my disks running under MS-DOS
Compatilibity so says the performance tab under System settings. I suspect
thats whats doing it. You might have the same thing. Gets the yellow ! under
device manager.

Yes I do.....same symptoms.......not getting very far trying to sort this
problem out
I am running Pentium III 500 with 256 Mb ram.......although you'd never know
it by the stuttering and sluggish performance of ME.........same
hardware/software in W98SE flew along.......

If you have yellow marks
there are some drivers you need to install
what kind of chipset do you have ??

I am having the same problem with my computer, and many other
computers. Everything that I have tried has not been successful. Any
answers to this will be great.
