I can't figure out how to change the duration of the clips after they are
already on the storyboard/timeline. I can change the default for the new ones
I put in, but I can't see how to change the existing ones.

Select and click on either the left hand or right hand edge of the clip in
the story board, which depending on whether you want to reduce the start
or end of the clip, and drag it towards the middle.

To add to Mikes comment, When you hover the curser over the selected
clip/pictures edge it changes to double arrow, then stretch or shrink it
like a slinky. It even gives you the increased or decreased time while
stretching.
Hope this helps further.

Is there any way to change the duration of all of the clips at once, or do
you have to change each one individually?
Thanks!

You can't do them all at once.... you might be better off starting over and
after changing the default photo duration..... via the main menu > Clip >
Options > default photo duration.
