I recommend using Pazera, because it's really easy.
Here's a link to download it:
http://www.download.com/Pazera-Free-FLV-to-AVI-Converter/3000-2194_4-10786669.html?part=dl-10786669&subj=dl&tag=button
Hope this helps.

But, it may depend on where your flv came from. If off the net, then you may
find that it isn't a straight forward flv file and may have some copy
protection in it.
Where did it come from?

i am desparately trying to create a music video, and my windows movie maker
is not allowing me to do so.
this is the error message i receive when i try to sync a music file (it's
from my itunes library) to my windows movie maker:
The file C:\Users\Jennie\Desktop\Fully Alive.m4p cannot be imported because
the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you
have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart
Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.
it simply says "the codec," but i have NO idea which codec to download. i
have been trying for WEEKS to get this resolved and have had no luck
whatsoever. i don't want to download a virus or anything, but i'm about to
scream and just download any codec i can find!!
please help me!!!
