MM "save to computer"

Help! Making a 70 (ish) photo slideshow with music, after "saving to
computer" the music sync is off and did not the save the same as it was
created. There are no transitions only video effects throughout. The
intention was to have a black screen midway go to a photo and the moment of
change should have been to a particular beat of the music. In the edit
mode/MM, I made the black screen to only go for 3.40 seconds in order to
accomplish this. It is saved to computer as 5 seconds at this point. I
changed the default of the slide duration under options and still have the
same problem. Have tried to adjust at the opening black page, the problem
black page and even made 3 separate one second black images and and one .40.
After about 30 tries I have run out of ideas and am very frustrated! How can
I fix this so that I can complete this project as planned and start a new
one? Please help!
