Hello,

Here's another request for help. My problem is that at
startup my pc says it has detected new hardware and then I
get this message: PNP software device enumerator Windows
is installing software for your new hardware. This
process fails and I get a blue screen. The interesting
part is that we have not installed new hardware. Any
ideas what's going on and how to fix it?

Terry

Begin by booting to Safe Mode and then do Start / Run / scanreg /fix.
Reboot when requested to do so.

In the meantime, review
