disk to be inserted into the CD-ROM drive. When I do this, it says it can't find

try using search. Put *.cab in the "files" part and hotplug.dll in the
"continuing test" part. Search your HD first then try the ME disk.
Probably install it to Windows\system directory but that's just a guess.

For kicks I did the search... your file is in base2.cab in Windows\WinMe
Install Diles\INSTALL
