Question on Tmail.exe <-> ActiveSync Interactions

Hi All,

My apologies for the cross post. I'm still learning which CE groups
are active.

What is the interaction between Tmail.exe and ActiveSync? That is,
when a device is cradled, how does TMail know the device is cradled
(and then performs a sync). And when the device is uncradled, how does
the device know to stop syncing?

I found one previous post on detecting ActiveSync state through a
registry key, but I'd be a little surprised if TMail.exe were polling
the registry key.
