Need help with the Hive-Based Registry?

I see lots of similar questions popping up now that Windows CE .NET has
shipped and people are starting to check out this new feature. I just
wanted to point out the relevant documentation that will help you resolve
problems -- I strongly recommend going over these documents if you're trying
to set up the hive-based registry. It will save you trouble in the long
run.

You set it up, but now you're having problems. Most common by far is a hang

Basically, I strongly recommend browsing the two areas of documentation, one
under the Windows CE .NET Overview section and the other under Designing
Operating System Elements. And if you're using the RAM-based registry,
you'll find documentation of that nearby.

I try to browse the newsgroups often, so post questions if you still have
them, but hopefully the docs will be enough you won't even have to ask!
