to know whether it supports moving pictures or only still pictures

The type of LCD panel does not generally influence whether it can
handle moving or still pictures. If the panel is TFT, then it should
be fast enough for video.
The big question is the capability of the processor that's driving the
panel... video display capability/performance will greatly depend on
what this is.
