I am looking into Windows CE, and I am wondering if it supports NTFS.

depends on the platform. PocketPC and PalmSize -- no.

No, There is no support for NTFS in Windows CE. One could create a
file system driver that could read and write to an NTFS drive but the
security mechanisms (including EFS) would not be available.

I beg you pardon for my newbie question but when do you need windows ce and
ntfs?? Do PDAs exist that have a harddrive in them?

We have several products that use DiskOnChips that go from 16 Meg to 254
Meg... so, yeah, NTFS would be kinda' nice (not to mention the journaling
aspect <sigh>). "WinCE - it's not just for PDA's anymore..."

Cheers,
