I am porting win ce 5.0 BSP for H/W based on OMAP2430 to CE 6.0.
i am getting the following msg on the debug log:
5761 PID:1430006 TID:1a00006 Exception 'Raised Exception' (-1):
Thread-Id=01a00006(pth=88a69708), Proc-Id=01430006(pprc=88a3c99c)
'servicesd.exe', VM-active=01430006(pprc=88a3c99c) 'servicesd.exe'
5761 PID:1430006 TID:1a00006 PC=401e15d0(ws2.dll+0x000015d0)
RA=8802549c(kernel.dll+0x0000649c) SP=000df658, BVA=00000000.
and also i get a window on the display saying "application servicesd.exe
encountered a serious error and must shutdown."
i am unable to find the solution to this, is this in any way related to
display driver.
pls help
Thanks in advance
Good luck,

No, this has nothing to do with the display driver. ServicesD.exe is
responsible for loading and communicating with services, just like
device.exe is responsible for loading and communicating with device
drivers. Try removing your services one-by-one and see which service is
the culprit.

Or ideally if you can setup a debugger connection you'd get the callstack of
the offending service. As Michel said, servicesd.exe is just the host, it's
possible though very unlikely that it's the culprit.
