I'm working under WINCE5.0, I google all the freeware text-editor is for
Pocket PC(sorry for I've never used a Pocket PC), they are all install cab or
exe files, And I try downloading it and run on my WINCE, it doesn't run.
So please help me, is there an execute of text-editor(not install cab or exe)?
Or open source program is also fine( And I've searched sourceforge.net, no
gain )!

Platform Builder includes wordpad application: I don't remember if including
it means a more expensive license (if this is the reason for your question)

How much text do you need to edit? If you don't mind a 64k limit, you can
pretty easily build your own version of notepad by just creating a simple
frame window, adding menu bar, etc., and then filling the rest of the client
area with an EDIT control. Obviously, you have to handle opening and saving
files and so on, but it's a pretty simple application. I think it took half
a day to write the one that ships on our devices.

For that matter, a Google search for ""windows ce" notepad" seemed to find a
number of usable and free notepad downloads...
