ActiveX control on PocketPC, PIE or GENIE?

This is the correct behavior for PB. I assume you are using WindowsCE.NET
with IE 5.5. It does not support WM OCX 7 objects. The CE WMP is provided as
an enhanced sample app for hosting an OCX, an enhanced WMP 6.4 OCX (hence
the GUID), and all the necessary DShow components, filters, and WM codecs
for playback of WMA/WMV. Also included are sample HTML code fragments
showing how to embed the player control in a page.
