Invoking the eVC debugger (for an ATL COM component) thru an eVB application

Hi there!

Is there any way to invoke the eVC debugger (to debug an ATL COM component),
thru its calling eVB front-end application? So far, we have found none, and
have been writing a front-end eVC/MFC test client (that is changed for each
scenario!!!), solely for the purpose of debugging! This is taking up a lot
of time off our core development efforts, especially since the temporary
eVC/MFC client is as prone to errors as the ATL component it tests!

Any help in this regards is greatly appreciated!
At least, is there a possibility that anybody (including MS) will come up
with such a facility in the foreseeable future?
